OurStory
Bakateam Services Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on 18 October 2019 with one clear purpose — to promote and advance renewable energy adoption across Malaysia. Registered under company number 1347280-W, we are headquartered at the Subang Jaya Industrial Estate in Selangor.
Our company was founded by key individuals who bring with them vast hands-on experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry. This deep technical background, combined with strong industry relationships, has allowed us to quickly establish ourselves as a reliable and knowledgeable player in Malaysia's growing solar energy landscape.
We are primarily involved in consultancy within the renewable energy sector, with established partnerships with leading solar developers and ongoing collaborations with industry players — all working toward a shared goal of a cleaner, more sustainable energy future for Malaysia.

Director & CEO
Eddy Amir Bin Salim leads Bakateam Services Sdn. Bhd. with a solid reputation for driving corporate growth through strategic direction and diverse perspectives. He holds a Master's Degree in Management of The Organisation from Southwest State University (SWSU).
His entrepreneurial journey began with Bakateam Sdn. Bhd., established in 1994, which started as a Perodua showroom along Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur. Under his leadership, the business earned recognition as the Most Improvised Sales Dealer in both 2012 and 2019, as well as the Outstanding Achievement in Customer Service award in 2014. The showroom has since grown into a full Perodua 3S Centre — a testament to his vision and operational excellence.
Building on that success, Eddy Amir expanded the Bakateam brand into Subang Jaya with a reconditioned luxury car dealership, before channelling his entrepreneurial energy into renewable energy with the founding of Bakateam Services Sdn. Bhd. in 2019.
